Leadership is at the heart of everything we do, whether or not it is implied by our job title. Leadership of self and others is required in all circumstances and stages in our careers. Through expertly facilitated events, workshop programmes and coaching, I can help individuals and teams to recognise leadership priorities and opportunities, and to find new ways of developing leadership skills.

Depending on your challenges and needs, which I would be happy to discuss with you, I offer a range of activities to support leadership development.

Cohort-based leadership programmes

Bespoke development programmes that provide the opportunity for a group of managers or leaders of equivalent seniority to work as a group over a period of months to develop their leadership skills and create a cohesive support network that supports one another after the programme.

The programme would be tailored to your needs but would likely include a combination of the following elements:

  • Workshops on leadership skills (see below)
  • One to one coaching to implement the skills learnt in workshops
  • Action Learning Sets
  • 360-degree feedback reporting
  • Group projects or tasks to complete as a cohort
  • Inputs and mentoring from senior leaders in your organisation

Examples of such programmes include:

  • University of Glasgow “Emerging Leaders Programme” (delivered in association with MyConsultants)
  • UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology “Managing your Potential” programme (delivered in association with Strengths in Action) download flyer

Leadership workshops

Standalone workshops that offer training and insights into specific leadership or self-leadership skills. These are offered as half day, one day or multiple day workshops.

Leadership coaching

Leadership challenges are so varied and personal, that training and workshops can only go so far to implement real change and development. One to one coaching helps to embed skills learnt in workshops, and to enable the client to review and plan their own sustainable approach to leadership. It also holds the client accountable to making real, measurable progress in their leadership. See my coaching pages for more information
